The dining room is closed on Sunday and Monday evenings, but we were able to enjoy a delicious and ample breakfast in the lovely dining room.
Very nice atmosphere wonderfully prepared selections, and very good service, but at a price. We would return again if we felt like our money was burning a hole in our pocket! $12 for a soup and $34 plus for chicken breast! Remember this is Vermont not Manhattan!
My wife and I were staying near by and had made reservations here based on reviews. The entire dinner experience was great, from start to finish. Our waiter was especially wonderful and really made us feel very welcome. We were so impressed we came back the next day to enjoy the breakfast, but that did not turn out as well... More
We recently had dinner and were shocked that when we arrived for our reservation, we were the only couple in the dining room; at 6:30pm. This should've given us some idea of how the dinner was going to go. The food was good, but nothing to write home about, especially considering the small portions and high price. My husband got... We spent 2 nights at the Reluctant Panther Inn . We were on a hiking trip with Backroads. Our room was wonderful. The king size 4 poster bed was great. Very nice bathroom. Dinner at the Inn was great, as was the wine list. I have no negative comments. Would definitely go back. Grounds are very nice and well maintained.
Spending the night at the Equinox Hotel in Manchester Village, VT, we walked next door for a warm an delicious meal at the Reluctant Panther. The service was fast and attentive while the atmosphere was warm and comforting on a cool October night. Our meals, braised short ribs and tuna steak were perfectly prepared. I really liked this choice and... More
It certainly did not disappoint us in the least. I had Yellow Finn Tuna that was totally unbelievably delicious. My husband felt the same. The service was great and very attentive. Great Wine. We would absolutely go there again. Kudo's to the Panther making our 13th anniversary so very special.
My wife and and her mother and myself returned to Manchester to view the color and visit relatives this past week. Two years ago we stayed at the Reluctant Panther and ate there as well and we were very pleased with the meals and the Inn . This trip we stayed at the Equinox but went to the Reluctant Panther... Great choices for food and great staff. Had a meatloaf dish that was the best I've ever had. Had a great time there!
Couples dinner at the RP last weekend. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and wanted a quiet romantic evening dinner. The atmosphere and service was excellent. The wine selection was also very good. However, for the price the entrees failed to meet expectations; the portions were very small and similar in taste to much less expensive options in town. I...
