Enjoyed a meal and a few beers here. Comfortable seating and some unique menu items. Lots of local beers to accompany your meal. Thought the menu items were a bit overpriced, but not painful. Calamari fried in graham crackers - different and delicious.

Not really any negatives, but nothing outstanding either to get it my excellent rating. The lady started with a blueberry/cantaloupe caiparinha that she is still raving over. I had a nice beer then we both enjoyed good wines-by-glass. She started with the white bean and kale soup - good, not great. I had the venison cigars - which were a... More

They added a lunch place in the same location as their main restaurant. The food is unremarkable, the pricing is high for what the food is: sandwiches, salads, some breakfast items, soups and pastries. They have a Waldorf salad that is terrific, small, but tasty portion. The soups are so-so, the menu item portions are tiny and the place is... More

I have had very good meals here and I have had not so good meals. I have had some amazing soups and entrees, but sometimes the entrees leave me scratching my head. To me the food seems over complicated sometimes. Last night I had the chicken statler - it was very tasty, but my partner had the fillet mignon, which... More

We have been coming to this area in Vermont for many years yet this was our visit to this restaurant that provided us with an excellent dinner last night. Josh was our attentive server followed by Lotty. The Roasted Duck Breast is memorable with its blueberry port demi sauce. Accompanied by Citrus Herb sweet Potato Mash and Brussel Sprout Slaw.... Went for Valentine's day. They were careful not to overbook guests so we had a relaxed meal. Food & atmosphere is always excellent.

I found this restaurant a lovely place visually. Loved the unique candelabra arrangement on our table and the fireplace nearby that cast a soft glow around the room.. The food was to die for. I had a butternut soup that is easily the most delicious of any I have eaten anywhere else. My waitress, Cecelia, helped me with my choice... More

The food and service are excellent. Wonderful wine list and amazing deserts. Nice ambience, particularly on a cold Vermont night.

Our waiter was so great. The food was outstanding. It's not cheap, but worth it if you want a nice dinner for two.

I took my wife and daugher to "The Frog" earlier this week for dinner. We frequent this neighborhood restaurant because of the great ambiance, wonderful food and great service. This visit was absolutley perfect! Our waiter Sean was one of the best we've had, attentive but not overbearing. We enjoyed appetizers, entrees and desserts and everything was amazing. I highly...
