Great food and service. Highly recommend! It was easy to find and had unexpected things on the menu, like organic meat and fresh sides.
We were driving through the area and stopped to see a friend attending graduate school at UVA. We met him at Boylan Heights. They have lots of burger options and all their meat supposedly is local, grass fed, etc. They also have the option of making your own burger. So lots of good options. We were there later, after the... More
nestled in the very crook of University of Virginia's historic "corner", Boylan Heights is a local favorite serving up interesting variations of the great American hamburger. My favorite is the "Green Eggs & Ham Burger", which is served topped with ham, swiss cheese, a fried egg, and pesto sauce on an English muffin. Traditionalists will be able to customize their... More
Great spot except for the flies- although in their defense the garage doors were open as it was a nice evening

You can create your own burger. Offers salads, and veggie burgers as well. Right in the center of the college scene.
We had poor service and a very slow kitchen experience on our first visit, but we decided to give them another chance. The only thing different was the date. Great place to be back in college, the made to order burgers are a must try. Beers are nicely priced with 17 or more beers on tap. Great place to hang out and catch up with friends.
Was recommended by the girls at the Front Desk of the Red Roof where i was staying. The food is great, and the staff are friendly. By far the best burger i've have in Charlottesville!
