Small restaurant in a shopping area that was a big surprise. The food was very good...Chicken Pad Thai as well as appetizers that I forgot their name but were mini wantons (but not crab Rangoon). It appears to be family owned, the cook is very friendly and she will periodically greet customers and to make sure everyone is satisfied. The... More

I have been here before. The food is decent but portions are small. I mainly go here because of the vicinity to my home. On my visit tonight, just to get soup which I'm sure is prepared in advance, 6 mins before closing time, someone ran to the door to lock it as they saw me walking up. She then... More

If you like Thai food you will love eating at Gah Bua Khan. I have eaten many times over the past few years at Gah Bua Kham and it is consistently great Thai food. I have taken many visitors with work and everyone thinks it is one of the best Thai restaurants. The Pad Won Sen with chicken and mild... More

My husband and I frequently get Thai food there. The owners are very pleasant, I even have a usual order. Good variety and family owned and operated.

We visited this place for lunch based off the good reviews it got on trip advisor. I ordered some Tom Ka Gai and was NOT impressed. It was watered down and had no flavor. My freind ordered Tom Yum and hers was the same. Flavorless and a lot of water, not much spice or content. When we asked for more... More

I was very surprised by this place. It is in a very unassuming location - strip mall - but this place cranks out great food. Upon arrival you can tell this place is a family owned/run mom-n-pop kinda place (ie food is authentic and made with love and that's all they care about). I started out with the veggie spring... First off the restaurant is very small and in a strip mall. There was no air conditionning and all the drapes were closed, so the place looked a liitle grim. The server was a teenager who seemed to have little experience and who was hard to understand. The food was fresh and well prpared but was nothing special compared to other... More

I have been eating here for over a year, and the food gets better everytime I go. I love everything on the menu which makes it hard to decide when I return. The value, the atmosphere, and the food are wonderful! I highly recommend this for Thai dining in Hampton, Virginia!

Small, family-owned Thai restaurant that serves great food. Very good value for the price paid, too. What more could you ask?

A great place for a quiet, unpretensious meal. Started with fresh veggie springrolls - the veggies were crisp and fresh but the peanut sauce was bit thin, but tasty. We ordered the cashew chicken and a spicy beef dish with onion, basil, and chili. the chicken was delicious - fried, but not at all greasy. The proprietor told us her... More
