Atmosphere is terrific 1950s throwback roadhouse. You'll expect Patsy Cline to walk through the door at any time. Food is terrific as is the service. Give it a try.

Excellent place to go with a group for a dinner. Nice wine list, priced realistically. Excellent seafood, especially the fried oysters. Good steaks. Just the best place to dine on a Saturday night.

Semi-dim lighting, with tables and booths. Alot of Mounted Deer Heads hanging arouns the dining room with a couple of Bear Heads mounted by the former fireplace mantle. A pretty good selection of wine and bottled beer. limited draft selection. The service was good. Large Selection of Seafood. The portion size seemed small for the price of the Entre.

after meandering the byways of the Shenandoah Valley near Harrisonburg and New Market, we were ready for wine and light fare at a local interesting eatery. we whipped into this small intriguing place on Rt 11 which was the main highway before I-81 was constructed. in 1909 the Blue Stone Inn was a travel lodge and tavern with tiny guest... Great atmosphere, especially in the winter, when a fire roars. This is a locals secret. Steaks are delicious, cooked just right. Good food an plenty of it.

The Blue Stone Inn has a very unassuming appearance in an out of the way location outside Harrisonburg, VA. We had an excellent meal in a very relaxing atmosphere from a menu that included a nice variety of seafood and steaks as well as other interesting choices. The meals are not cheap by any means and most items are in... More

We were on Rt. 11 and looking for someplace to stop for dinner. We drove right by this restaurant, as it didn't look very appealing - from the outside. We decided to turn around, thinking that we might not find anything until the next town. Boy, am I glad we did. The other reviews are "right on". The food was... More

Although the looks and location may cause some to raise their eyebrows and wonder, wonder no more- the steak and seafood here is DELICIOUS. The decor leads for great conversation pieces (if you're not too busy enjoying the food!) Great place for a special occasion.

Probably the best food in the Harrisonburg area. Comparable to the Joshua Wilton house in terms of quality (not atmosphere). When you walk in, you would never guess in a million years the level of food you will get. It is well worth the trip out if you have not yet been. It is low key, friendly and relaxed. The... More

Best Seafood in the Valley, Great Service. Have eaten seafood all over the country and this is the best prepared I've tasted anywhere.
