If you are a committed lap swimmer as I am, there is no other place to swim in Granada, Nicaragua. Given its somewhat odd shape, I cannot provide exact dimension, but I can say that my hour swim yielded a very solid workout. Avoid the pool on weekends--Sundays are especially bad--as local families roll in and take over the joint.
They have the largest pool around Granada and on a hot day it is well worth it to pay for a day pass to the pool. It is huge and there is plenty of room to move around. The plam trees don't hurt.
I simply enjoy the Hotel Granada...the pool ( Best in Granada ), the restaurant and the service.....It is understated and in a very quiet area of the walking street...better known as the Calzada...down toward the lake it is a wonderful place for dinner or just a coffee..one of a few places on the Calzada where you can sit outside and...

The little restaurant in front lacks any real atmosphere, but the service may be best in Granada and the food is very good. Selection OK, not great. Clean.
Although we have not stayed at the Hotel Granada, we have dined now three times in the hotel's restaurant.
