This is a long story but I will keep it short and sweet - if you are looking for an authentic Philly cheese steak sandwich made with meat and bread from Philadelphia, by a family originally from Philadelphia, then this is your place!!! I first met Rick and his family nearly a decade ago eating at one of his restaurants... More

I love the other Ricks, but its all the way at the other end of Jefferson so I rarely go. I am so glad a new one opened! It's so good. The meat is Dietz and Watson, and its great. The fries are always hot and crispy. My husband gets the burger and loves it. I get the Philly. I... More

Not bad at all, would go back. I had the philly steak and my wife had the chicken philly. The location isn't great and neither is parking but they were busy and that says the food is good.

The portion sizes are always outstanding. I had the BLT sub, which was piled high with bacon and some onion rings. These onion rings were cooked to perfiection. They were not overdone and to crispy or underdone where the onion pulls out from the breading. They were perfect. Ambiance is basic and no frills. Wait staff is quick and attentive.

Great food, great service, fantastic value. Servings are huge and taste just as good if not better than cheese steaks from Philly. Servers are great, and the owner is a nice man. Love this restaurant.

This unassuming little hut, disguises a brilliant, high quality, high content, extremely consistent sandwich-teria . If you blink, you could easily miss this joint, and that would truly be a shame. I accidentally happened in one day last year and it has been a regular spot ever since. At first glance, the little diner tables and chairs, the small bar-like... More

Rick's is definitely the place to go for an authentic Philadelphia Cheese Steak. I ordered the large sandwich not knowing how big it was going to be and needless to say I easily had lunch for the next day. The grilled onions and pepers were a great compliment to the all beef cheese steak. Don't plan any meetings for directly... More

I could never get enough of Rick's. The menu is different. It is the only place I have seen that sells hot pickles the way the sell them. The service is decent. Some of the servers just don't care but you tolerate them for the food.

We found this lil shop by accident, we had gotten off 64 to get some lunch and bam ! There it was Rick's Sub Shop. The waitress was very nice and helpful with ordering. We ordered a club and a Philly. Wow !!! were they big ! and the small fry we ordered was more than we both could eat... More

Went to Busch gardens for their Christmatown. Asked the women at the front desk of the hotel for a good sub shop. She suggested Rick's and I am so glad she did. Wonderful food and service. We will be stopping by during our summer trip.
