I have dined here for lunch and dinner over the years and have always enjoyed it. Food has always been good and so has the service. I work nearby and it is on our regular business / employee outings list. They handle large groups well.

OK-- so you're clearly not dining on piazza San Marco in Rome...it's a strip mall on the peninsula, but with the reviews we read here, we had high hopes. The restaurant.was busy on a Saturday night, so we figured it must be great, however, we left disappointed and reaching for antacids. It started with our drink orders--an Italian place that... More

Though a little pricey, to those of you who are budget minded, it was a nice quiet place to eat lunch with my husband. I would NOT recommend this eatery to families with young children since it seems more of a date or business setting....and stays pretty quiet as a whole in that regard. The staff were attentive, though it... More

My mother and I went there for dinner on a Friday night. We had a reservation for 6:45, and the restaurant was pretty full when we arrived. We both ordered veal dishes which were excellent. Our server Melanie was pleasant and accomodating. When I asked if my mother could get a half-pour of one of their wines, she took care... More

My husband and I have been dining at this gem for many years. food is always pretty good to great, the server we always have (Vincent) is absolutely the best. After our 85 year old mother had surgery today we thought we would go for lunch at Alfresco's as we would be back at hospital for the night. We have... More

Met friends for dinner. We did not have a reservation but we arrived @5:00PM when the restaurant opens up so they were able to accommodate us. The restaurant was full by the time we left @7PM. Two of us had the special that night (rockfish) for $28 and it was superb, no 'fishy' taste at all. Water glasses were kept... More

We had dinner at Al Fresco last week on our way to a show at the Ferguson Center; it was memorable . We have eaten there a number of times in the past, but not recently. The experience we had last week convinced us that this is the best Italian restaurant on the peninsula. The selections offered are quite broad,... More

My husband and I have been there many times and we have never had a bad experience. Ronnie and Vinnie are class acts; they treat us and most of their customers like family and the food is wonderful. Many choices and always cooked perfectly; their meat sauce and their white wine sauce is unbeatable. We travel a lot and have... More

My husband and I just had lunch at Al Fresco. On entering it felt very warm, no air conditioning. The decor is very dated and old fashioned. The music was very old and depressing. Sorry to go on about the Old but the wait staff have been there a long time too. The service was very prompt, so much so we... More
