Asian Grill is a nice little sushi place. It also has other kinds of dishes if members of your party are not big on sushi (many sushi items actually are cooked: eel, shrimp). Good for lunch when mostly just business people and locals are stopping in. Service can be casual during off-hours, but still worth checking it out.

You simply can't beat this place for sushi.....go there

We came here while passing through to the beach and swore we'd come back when returning. Fair prices, unassuming small place, delivery, and great sushi. It takes time, so don't come here in a rush. I had the Hero sushi.....absolutely the best. Don't miss this place.

We did not expect to have asian food during our time in Newport News. It was a surprise find for us and we went back several times. I believe they specialize in chinese foods but also serve japanese (including sushi) and thai dishes. It was pretty tasty and the prices were more than reasonable.
