Stone Soup is staffed by wonderful, friendly people and the food is great. It is a bit small, and parking is around back and a bit difficult to find. They have gluten-free and vegan options and have always been great about making substitutions from my dietary needs. I always get the cranberry turkey sandwich in a gluten-free wrap. It is... More

Good food and a trendy place for those who like food with a twist and vegetarian. Small inviting place with friendly service.

I knew this was a bookstore and cafe, but did not realize the strange layout. Apparently there is parking around back, and if you are eating, that would be your best bet. If you part on the street (as I did), be ready to feel disoriented and out of place as you wind your way to the tight bookstore to... More

Sometimes the food is very good, sometimes it's just ordinary. Still homemade and it's a quaint atmosphere. Neat idea to have books along with food. A nice stop for AT hikers.

Tables are scattered upstairs and downstarirs in small rooms among (mostly) used books. Interesting menu; tasty food. Te written menu and servers need to explain the food better--we had a couple of surprises that disappointed us.

A great little book store with outdoor concerts during the warmer months. Not much on the menu besides soup and sandwiches but if your looking for maybe an outdoor concert or brunch you cant go wrong here

We went out for a walk today to explore the area and found this wonderful place.'s It's a combo bookstore and cafe in an old building. The staff is very friendly and the food is excellent. The inside eating area is small - 2 3-person tables, 2 2-person tables and a number of seats at the counter. They also have... More

I have been here for lunch once. Not much to choose from but very good food and great prices. The service is good also. Sort of a tight squeese in a few place. All in all, a great place for lunch.

Stopped here for lunch on a beautiful summer day in August. Interesting cafe menu made with local ingredients. I really liked the bookstore/cafe combo in a cute little house on a hill side. There is a nice little garden seating area in the back. This place is definitely worth taking some time to find for a good lunch.
