Our go to place in Bellevue for good, authentic Chinese food. Haven't had a bad meal there yet. Delicious.
Love it! If you are into spicy food, this is your place. The Chong Qing hot chicken is excellent. Your lips will burn. This restaurant has an expansive menu so one never needs to worry about not finding something to eat here. Would give this restaurant five circles but seems short on staff on busy weekend evening.
My husband and I recently tried Szechuan Chef based on the mostly good reviews here on tripadvisor. We love Chinese food and had been craving it for a while. Our entrees included the Mongolian beef and string bean chicken. Both were bland and extremely greasy. We also had the fried potstickers as an appetizer - big mistake as the dough... More
Came here based on good reviews I saw on yelp and this site. Had the lunch specials which were ok, nice high ceilings, decent service. We did notice people who ordered the dinner menu had huge portions compare to small ones for lunch, so we will do this next time.
I don't know what else to say. I love Chinese food. My husband loves Chinese food. We eat it often at a lot of different places and this was simply the best we've ever encountered...better than anything in Chinatown in San Francisco or NYC. The menu was ridiculously full of choices and, with the exception of some of the dishes... More
Service is sometimes fast, sometimes slow and you have to beg for someone's attention, ask for a fork three times etc. Some of the dried chicken dishes are made with that stuff that's 90% goo and 10% chicken. The honey walnut chicken isn't, and it was great, so was the beef in gravy. Didn't like the mandarin spicy chicken at... More
It was a perfect meal for the whole family! Seemed very authentic and had a varied menu. Pot stickers and egg rolls excellent. Great orange beef and shrimp.
I had beef chow mein and there was very little beef in it. I may have missed something when ordering but I've never had those kind of noodles in my chow mein. It made it too mushy. That may have been my fault.
This is one KILLER Szechuan restaurant..period...yes the decor is cheesy..so what? If you want mediocre food with fancy atmosphere, go somewhere else..no shortage in Seattle. Yes service can be slow...Here..I will happily wait and watch the people scarfing food like crazy. Every time I'm in the Sea-Tac area, I make a beeline for here..This place is very busy, and full... The menu is interesting., The food is well prepared. You can order it mild or hot. The atmosphere is pleasant, a cut above the usual Asian restaurant. Service has always been good, and pleasant - with a smile. We eat lunch here regularly. Even the complimentary tea is deelicious. It is a little hard to find (projected until November 2011)... More
