Casual, tasty food, ok prices, busy...one large, chatty space. Liked the food and prices, the environs were nothing special but had no expectations in that regard, anyway.

Headed to the lower to try the burgers as a friend had been raving about them. I was not disappointed the burger and fries was superb. It just so happened to be karaoke night and some very talent folks where in the house singing all in all a great night.

We have been eating there for 30 years. It is a great lunch place and this time they had an excellent cider on tap. I have food allergies and they always work with me.

A pub atmosphere with good food at reasonable prices, especially for a tourist village. Good service, a bit noisey during dinner time. I was there on St. Patrick's day and had excellent Irish stew.

The title says it all, Not pretentious at all, it is what it is: center of the town beer joint with pool tables and a mixed crowd that serves the best burgers in town in a clean, neat setup with friendly folk doing the serving. That's it.
