The food was good overall but too greasy for our taste (there was a pool of butter/oil) in the plate. The ambience was pleasant and the servers were super friendly.

We ate at Mozart during a recent trip to Leavenworth for Maifest. I was initially attracted by the idea of higher-quality Bavarian (and German) foods, rather than just sausages steamed in kraut or cider or both. We actually wound up with a great balcony seat, looking over Leavenworth's main street, where we were effectively serenaded by the (unnecessarily amplified) band...

The shopping street was lovely and we were reading the menu on the doors as we walked. Thought we would try a bavarian place and climbed up the stairs to find this wonderful cafe. The interior was decorated well and we found it romantic. We were greeted with a basket of bread. The potato pancakes with the creme and apple...

We had lunch here the day we arrived in Leavenworth and were the only people in the restaurant - it was the quiet time between lunch and dinner. It's a flight of steps up to this lovely cafe, small and cozy with nice artwork. We had a table overlooking the street and a leisurely meal with excellent food. It's a...

My husband and I stayed at the Bavarian Lodge(great place) and decided to try this restaurant after checking out the sample restaurant menus that the hotel had at the front desk. I knew at that time that it was upstairs, but upon arrival, the view from the bottom of the stairs was daunting. The steps are many and steep and...

Went for dinner. The bread was stale but my husband's pasta dish was very good. I had gotten the schnitzel in mushroom sauce and it wasn't bad, but nothing to write home about. The potato pancakes had absolutely no flavor and I felt I was eating cardboard. Overall its ok but I think there might be better places to go....

They have a live pianist playing with low lighting. The food was delicious. I rated very good because it was lacking food options. They did have German dishes but not a great sampling with affordable options. I would definitely recommend going, but this place is a little fancier than we were looking for. The Sauerbraten was delicious.
Thank you for giving us a try. Hope to see you back.

This is a wonderful cafe, upstairs on the main street. The food is wonderful and the atmosphere is good. Sometimes a live piano player that makes it perfect. We had sat on the balcony and watched the street below... perfect!
Thank you! Hope to see you back soon.

If it's tasty German food you're after then this is the place for you. We ordered schnitzel, spaetzal, fried cheeses, and the works! Do not skip the mushroom sauce if you get a chance. Staff was friendly and was knowledgeable about the food. Go here!
Thank you very much for your kind review.
We love to hear from customers like you, who love a great German meal.
Hope to see you back.

This was our first experience with Bavarian cuisine. The crab cakes were delicious but the fried cheese appetizer was not exactly what you would expect for $13 fried cheese sticks. It was good but not worth the money. The potato and leeks soup was phenomenal and could honestly be eaten all by itself in a big bowl. We ordered the...

Thank you for your review.
We are sorry that you expected something else than the international fried cheese sampler (these 3 imported cheeses are for sure not cheese sticks) . Danish Brie, Dutch Gouda and Italian Mozzarella is what you ordered and what you got served with imported Swedish lingonberries and marinara sauce. The sausages, the winekraut , red cabbage and...
