After visiting a bunch of gift shops, which is just about all there is in Leavenworth, we were thinking of eating at one of the two German restaurants, but we walked by Munchen Haus, and saw the advertisement saying that it was well rated in TripAdvisor. We decided to give it a try. My first impression was "Local fast food".... More

We had some good brats here. I can see that this would be a very popular spot during octoberfest with it beer garden. I recommend this place for a nice lunch.

I looked up what was the #1 ranked Trip Finder restaurant in Leavenworth. Munchen Haus came up. It lived up to its billing. Just follow the smoke from the grill and the smell....you will find the place. They have all kinds of wonderful sauces....obviously the curry sauce is the perfect combo with the curry brat along with relish and kraut.... More

There really isn't a bad spot in Leavenworth. If you're into the Bavarian-themed decor, buildings, etc. and want a taste of Switzerland, Austria, or Germany, Munchen Haus is the place! We really enjoyed the brats with all of the dressings and add-ons that are available.

Great setting, with outdoor seating, and heaters. Service is friendly and fast. The curry wurst is amazing!! Special apple cider kraut is great. Try the jalepeno mustard, or one of the other 20 types of mustard!

I was told that if I haven't even gone, the Munchen Haus is a must do in Leavenworth. Well, he was right! I am from Wisconsin and grew up eating brats regularly. When he mentioned the words "curry brat", I was sold. We stopped here while passing through town, and were not disappointed. The ambiance is fantastic, and the fat... More

We had a seasonal Raspberry local beer they had on tap with brats. It was one of the most enjoyable meals we have had in a long time. There were fires in the area so crowds were low. The atmosphere is fantastic! The beer, I still miss, and the brats were excellent. Would definately go back!

The Munchen Haus has never disappointed in all of the years we've gone to Leavenworth (and that's a lot). Leavenworth always has new stores and restaurants to try out and there are some great finds, but the Munchen Haus has been a staple for as long as I can remember and its' no frills easy atmosphere is great for families,... One of the few places with a veggie brat!! Had a ton of different mustards to try, a nice hot (temp, not spice) sauerkraut, and the standard ketchups and relishes. Not really a "restaurant" experience as it is outdoors and quite casual - more like a fancy concession stand with beer and wine. The pretzel was ok - similar to... More
