We visited The Alley Cafe on a Saturday evening, a bit early to beat the dinner rush. Our server was quite friendly and took the time to chat with us. We were allowed to share an entree (with my 7 year old) and were given tongs as well as a plate to make things easier. I ordered Pesto do Basilica... More

We shared an appetizer (Brie and smoked salmon with crostini--wonderful!), then shared a schnitzel (?sp?) that was a work of art! Beautiful to look at and wonderful to eat! Everything was great--food, service, atmosphere--everything! Great evening at Alley Cafe!

We checked out reviews for restaurants in Leavenworth and decided upon The Alley Cafe. Loved it! The restaurant is quiet and small. Wait staff attentive and friendly. Food was delicious! I had the Fettucine Alfredo and my husband had the Seafood Fettucine Alfredo. Big servings and good!!

We love this restaurant and we eat there quite often. It's door really is located in the alley behind the main street but it is worth seeking it out. Their food is always good and there is a great selection of wines too. My favorite dinners there are "Jerusalem chicken" or canneloni, but everything on the menu is excellent. On... More

Let's face it, tourists in Leavenworth invariably flock to Visconti's when they want a "fancy" dinner out while on vacation. No less good, however, is the Alley Cafe, tucked into the alley behind Front Street. They serve northern Italian dishes, and both the Jerusalem chicken that my wife had, and the mascarpone pasta I ordered, were heavenly. The Alley Cafe... More

We have been going to this restaurant for nearly ten years at leat once a month if not weekly, in that time, we have been treated to wonderful food and service. There is a beatiful atmosphere and you can sit and enjoy your meal without feeling "timed"!

I was thoroughly dissappointed in our meal. The Brie was good but the salmon was too dry for our crostini. My pasta was overcooked, definitely not el dente. The marscapone sauce was too runny, it was like a glass of milk was used instead. The actual mushroom ravioli tasted good, but the brown sauce served over it was too salty,... More

Nice dinner, good fresh tasting marinara. Nice wine selections. Came in with no reservation during Ice Fest so were lucky to get a seat. Will definitely come back!

Food was okay, nothing special. There were six and we all tried something different and nothing was above average. We went there in August 2011 and thought we should give it another try but there definitely isn't any reason to go back.

We come here every January and have the Chicken Jereusalem. It is delicious, good priced and filling. I cannot wait every year to have it at this quaint little restaurant. I will be there every year for it.
