We have traveled to Pullman many times in the last 30 years and we have been going to Swilley's as long as it has been open. It was my mother's favorite restaurant. Continuous excellence would describe this place. For years there was not even any competition for Swilley's. It is still the best restaurant in town. My favorites are whatever... More

We were seated quickly for dinner & then left unattended for 10 minutes. My husband was ready to leave even though he loves their food! Thankfully for this hungry reviewer we placed our whole order--in case the server made himself scarce again. After we sorted out our server's wine glass confusion, we were perplexed by the bread. Neither of us... More

It was good--always a decent soup and salad, great atmosphere. A bit pricey for a college town, but that keeps the students away. I would like to make this a dinner location, but I live 1 1/2 hours away and it would not be worth that much of a drive unless I stayed. Still, if in Pullman, check it out.

My husband and I have gone to Swillys for the past 10 years. It has never disappointed us. We think it has such delicious food with reasonable prices, especially compared to eating at restaurants in downtown Seattle. We just brought our family there for a graduation celebration. Four of us had beef fillets that were incredibly tender. Dinner included salad,... More

My husband and I go to a family event in Colfax in June nearly every year. We like to try and find a decent restaurant to have dinner during our stay. Swilly's is the first one we found that we would really consider fine dining. The menu was what you would expect in a big city fine dining restaurant with... More

My wife and I had a good dinner date, but it is more expensive than comparable food at other restaurants. However, it's a nice quaint atmosphere that's good for a romantic occasion; so of course that has to be considered too. On another business meeting, lunch was a very good soup, salad, and sandwich at a good price. I don't... More

I had a very pleasant lunch here in Pullman, a town that seemthai be a bit short of real restaurants. I had the chicken tacos, which were just spicy enough and quite satisfying. My table mate had a Caesar with salmon that he pronounced fine. The selection of wines by the glass is strong and varied. I thought the Boom... More

Swilly's was simply the best place in Pullman for a long time. I remember going there for at least 8 years. For a long time there was no competition for Swilly's. In the last year or so that has changed but I would still give Swilly's the edge. The Pullman restaurant scene has dramatically changed in the last couple of... More

Swilly's is the best and most consistent restaurant in Pullman. The food is always good, service is excellent. It's really the only place in town to take someone who is interviewing for a job (sigh).

This little gem is just as I remembered it when I attended WSU. Returned with our daughter to check her in to school and checked it out. We loved our meal. Generous portions and great service. Thanks for remaining constant!
