Had so looked forward to finally eating here and it was a terrible disappointment. The service was horrible and the waitstaff and kitchen crew were clueless that they were in a position to be heard all around the restaurant. The appetizers were excellent and it was all down hill from there. Loud complaints from the kitchen were heard when a... More

We heard about this place from some friends of ours who visit Morgantown regularly for work and it didn't disappoint. We had the scallop appetizer (tad overpriced) and it was tasty. It was small and so we ordered the calamari which was flavorful and tender. The ladies had the ricotta gnudi and while they were surpised about how brothy it... More

Booked reservations online for our 1 year wedding anniversary, but our server did not recognize the occasion at all while we were there (so I am not sure if they generally do not read the comment section of reservations or if they did not read it because we arrived at 8pm and they close at 9pm) We eventually departed around... This is one of my nicer favorites for taking business contacts. The salads are always delicious and the grilled cheese and soups are too. Salad dressings are homemade and tasty, service is good, place is quiet.

I loved the atmosphere. The menu selection was small but varied which is how most upscale restaurants tend to be. Our server was good but seemed a little nervous and not top quality. The salads and bread were wonderful! Most husband ordered the quinoa stuffed avocado which was very unique to this area and very tasty! Our main dishes were... More

Have patronized Sargasso since opening as the food, service, and atmosphere far exceeded other options. However, the latest visit left a bad taste in my mouth. 2 1/2 hours in the restaurant and not because enjoying ourselves. Had to ask several times for status of drinks - waitress brought incorrect appetizers and even asked if we were sure we didn't... More

Went to this place while visiting. While the website had me looking forward to a good meal and time... Don't believe everything you read. The appetizers were Ok... Just Ok. The salads were very good. The main course was cold and the steaks were undercooked . The shocking part was the service was terrible... Did I mention terrible. The desserts... More

The food here is very good, but it is expensive. Service is just OK and the menu is somewhat small. Worth a try if you want to impress a date, but be prepared to drop some cash.
