Loved the fried green tomato sandwich and my husband love the Reuben! Will definitely stop the next time I'm in the area.

My friend and I were getting really tired of the food choices at the Greenbrier, so we hopped on a shuttle to the Mason Jar. It was worth it!! The fried chicken and fried-green tomatoes were delicious. My friend loved her philly cheese steak sandwich. The service was good and friendly. We went back for a second night while we... More

Great place to visit and eat at while you are visiting White Sulfur Springs or the Greenbrier. Southern style eating at its best. Fried chicken was delicious along with the barbecue sandwich. Also had the fried green tomatoes- A must! Reasonable prices with great service! Just down the street from our stay at the Greenbrier offering a laid back place... More

The Mason Jar looks a little like a hole in the wall from the outside. Inside it has cute country-rustic decor and friendly staff. My mom and I went for the Sunday breakfast buffet, which was only $7.per person. The buffet looked sort of small and sad, but we decided to stay and I'm glad we did. The buffet included... More

This restaurant caters to a wide variety of patrons. It is probably the least expensive place to eat in town if you do not want fast food. They have daily specials written on a board outside the restaurant. The food is not fancy, but a good value.

The decor is stark, and there was no background music player which meant we overheard everyone's conversations (and they ours), but you cant beat the home-style food. The fried chicken was perfect, and the brisket was amazing. The sides where tasty, fresh, and large. Onion rings and cole slaw were homemade so I have to assume everything else was as... More

We liked potato soup and fried green tomatoes. Nice lady running things and delicious lemonade tasted homemade.

Had lunch. Wife loved buffet. I had burger. Good menu. Nice staff. Buffet was great. Burger very good. We ditched the Greenbrier restaurants to save playing church dress with the upper crust and enjoyed a meal at fair price while wearing those blue jean slacks! Seriously go here, it's good.
