Unbelievable atmosphere. If you get the chance, dine upstairs! It's like being in a movie! Food is fabulous, and though it is expensive, I think the service surpasses TWF.

Fine dining. Great food, excellent service. Nice atmosphere. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. You do not mind dressing up.

Le Château definitely stands out! We have dined there at least three times and each time had a wonderful experience. The building's architecture is exquisite and has an old world feel, something unusual for La Crosse. You feel as though you have entered another world as you step through the impressive wooden doorway. One of the owners is French and... More

In my recent visit to Le Chateau, I found the setting to be very charming and the food to be the most authentic in the area. From the wine to the entrees to the digestif, every part of the meal made me think of and miss France. Great experience.

Went back again last night, food was spectacular, ambiance amazing- one of the best place in the Coulee region - nothing close to it until you get to Madison or Twin cities.

I had high expectations for this venue- a Victorian mansion in downtown La Crosse. Although the waitstaff and owner were very pleasant, there was a strained formality in their behavior. The restored mansion was impressive, but almost garish in decoration (maybe a little too true to Victorian style, especially the peacock room). I can understand wanting patrons to have a... More

My fiance and I went here for Valentine's Day with hopes of a great meal. The cost was $60.00 per plate (this is extremely high for La Crosse) so we were expecting something unique and delicious. It was 7 courses and none of them were even close to outstanding. The main entree was "tiger" shrimp, which was more like kitty... More
