This place takes a few minutes from the Kona coast. . It was worth the trip. The view on the ride up was breathtaking. When we arrived for our 7:45 reservation, we found the restaurant half full. The bad weather must have been the reason, because the food was very good. I had the oven baked Brie with crostini and... More

The hosts at the Areca Palms Estates B&B recommended Keei Cafe. What a grand dinner. Every dish was unique, especially the bisques and the seafood. And the sauces! We thought we were in Switzerland. This is "the place." Bruce Seltzer, San Anselmo, CA

I visited my sister in Kona and she couldn't wait to bring me to this restaurant. I can see why after dining on a high quality, delicious meal. Very fresh. We shared the roasted chicken split two plates. She had hers with curry and rice/brocollini and I had my half with garlic gravy and mashed potatoes/veggies. Both were wonderful. I... More

this place has great food, great mai tais, fantastic dessert-try the bread pudding- and great service. it's only drawback is it does not accept credit cards. prices are good for the quality of food. the place is nicely decorated, very nice. waiter was also very friendly.

.....when they were at their original location and the ambiance was spartan and the furnishing were plastic patio tables and chairs. The food was great then and it has only gotten better over time! At the new location there is a totally charming dining room ~ lovely artwork and furnishings ~ an unobtrusive local guitarist playing several nights a week... More

Friendly service, and absolutely the freshest fish you could ever have. They take cash or check only no cards, but they have a bank machine on site that is cheaper than the Bank of Hawaii.

Slow is one thing but this was unbelievable. Waited 20 minutes with a reservation and then had no contact for another 20 minutes. Finally ordered drinks and it was 15 minutes more. Then it took 45 minutes to get our food. Unless you are at one of the couple of tables on the narrow porch, there is no atmosphere and... More
