We stopped by for Mother's Day and needless to say, the place was packed. That said, the staff could not have been nicer and the bar was open to those waiting outside. We split a pizza and salad and each was quite good, especially given the circumstances. The service was also good. This is a small restaurant, and they were... More

The pizza I had for dinner was tasty and 'European', as opposed to 'American'. Just approximatively 'Italian' (I lived in Italy so I know what I am saying :-)) but still very good food. The service was good. Prices are high, but this is what you have to deal with in all the 4 restaurants in Volcano! The proximity of... More

We stopped by here to have lunch after a hike in Volcanoes National Park. The menu had a lot of sandwich options that sounded great and looked good as the wait staff set them on other tables. We shared one of their thin crust pizzas and it hit the spot! My only regret is that we didn't have enough time... More

We had dinner here on night and the pizza was served on a thin crust that was delicious and full of flavor. We also had a tomato soup that was very good. I suggest this place over Cafe Ono if you want tasty vegetarian. All you have to do is ask your waitress to make a vegetarian pizza with no... More

Pesto pizza was really good. Locals and visitors, all diving into their food. Great service, good food, a bit expensive, but what do you expect. More

Pizza sounded good and there's only one place to get it fresh in Volcano, Hawaii. We paid $21 plus tip to pick up a pizza at the Kiawe Kitchen. We ordered the margherita pizza and added two toppings. The extremely thin crust edges were charred black and unedible. The pizza would probably be considered a medium. The toppings were sparse.... More

We only had a few hours to spend in Volcano's national park, and we had to grab lunch before our drive back to Hilo for our helicopter ride. I had no idea this place was here, but I saw a "food" sign down this road, so we took it. As someone else mentioned, it's attached to a gas station, so... More

The pizza was great, but they only have Medium size pizzas and they charged us $24 for each. Also, they close at 9 p.m. with the last seating allowed before 8:30 p.m. More
