We went on mothers day and the icecream was complimentary. The staff were semi-friendly :). We loved the Kauai pie icecream in a waffle cone. They are not very keen on the ice cream tasting though

All I can say is thank God they do not have a Lappert's in my home town. This is ice cream crack! No other ice cream parlor can compare. Maybe it the salt in the air or the milk from the islands happy cows, but try to hit this place once and do not think it can be done.

We ate at a restaurant in the Kuku'iula shopping center and walked to Lappert's for dessert. It was a refreshing treat. There were many flavors to choose from and quick service.

There are several of these Ice Cream / Coffee shops on the island. I have not tried their coffee, but have tried their ice cream several times and it was always good. Lots of different flavors to choose from. They also have really good waffle cones. My recommendation is 2 scoops of the Chocolate Oreo Crunch in a waffle cone.

Hubby and I went for a scoop after dinner and sampled themselves which were delicious but ended up splitting a scoop of peanut butter and chocolate in a waffle cone! Best I've had:)

I have to start by saying that certain members of my family love this place... I think the ice cream and desserts are cloying, but if you love sweet, rich ice cream and sweet, heavy treats, then you will love Lapperts. Set in cute Kukuiula Village, it is a nice place to stop for a (very) sweet treat.

The Lappert's in Kukui'ula Shopping Village replaced the Lappert's that used to be located in Koloa, just a few minutes to the north. Their ice cream is rich, fairly expensive, but totally hits the spot. Besides ice cream, you can also get sherbets, as well as rich brownies and cookies, and coffee.
