The drinks were pretty good. But I have to say I have had better Margarita's and Mai Tai's. . The presentation is nothing exciting! We ordered pupu's and thought they were very good. Five Palms certainly has beautiful views of the Ocean. Would give it another try!

Finally moved here so at last tried 5 Palms, and found it a breath of fresh air, literally. Your view is outside looking at the aqua blue Pacific ocean, the food is great, and the service is friendly. We had brunch, and everything was excellent. Crab and avocado omelet with delicious hollandaise, the Hawaiian breakfast with pancakes, the Portguese sausage... More

great venue and food for breakfast. horrible for dinner. no music so maybe the theme is a quiet meal listening to the waves. lala on the ambiance I'm more about the food. the uni sushi is fine but more costly then others around town and we got to have it at almost any price. steak and lobster blaa and fresh... Excellent fish, excellent dishes with interesting flavors but quite expensive. Beautiful view of the ocean and nice atmosphere.

Wow! You won't get a better view than this, you are so close to the ocean you can almost reach out of the huge open windows and touch it. they have the biggest windows you've ever seen, spreading over half the building and they open it all up and you can't even hardly eat your food because everyone is staring... As i entered the Five Palms i was greeted with much aloha! Right away i noticed the great ocean views and beautiful beach. The food was great and reasonably priced. It was a perfect morning to enjoy breakfast on the beach. The staff was very pleasent and made it a very memorable experience. I would say this restaurant is a... More

Atmosphere was nice and our server was very pleasant. Unfortunately, the food was not memorable. The coconut shrimp that many wrote about was nearly tasteless and the fish entres were simply not memorable. I wouldn't recommend.

On our first night in Maui, we chose to dine at the resort wherein we were staying (the Mana Kai) just for the convenience. We were delighted with the ocean view and overall ambience of the restaurant. The service was fine and our waiter (Ben from Massachusetts) was very gregarious without being the least bit obsequious. The entrees (fish of... More

We went for the Happy Hour and the Place Was Packed...the waiter wanted to seat us inside so we could still enjoy the atmosphere and drink specials, then suddenly noticed an EARLY BIRD SPECIAL for like $35.00, IT was WONDERFUL! The ceasar salad, potato and Prime Rib was Outstanding, even included dessert...and gotta mention the Service and View is Amazing!!
