I have been here on several occasions over the years when visiting Maui. The service was pretty good overall. The sushi was not as good as I remember, but was still good. The tempura had some extra flour that was uncooked. The fish was very fresh. The ambiance was pleasant.

Everything on the menu was outstanding. Four of us went for my wife and my 53 rd anniversary. Made reservation with the manager two weeks in advance. This restaurant was recommended by friends of ours. We visited and decided to sit at the sushi bar. The sushi was exceptional! We thoroughly enjoyed each roll. A must do stop. 5:30 - 6:00 is Early Bird most days and worth waiting in line for. We have been there maybe 15 or 20 times and have never ordered an entree. The sushi and appitizers are too good not to pig out on.

Service is always excellent, the fish exceptionally fresh. The specials are always a delight, and we always happily over order so we can explore the menu. The Rainbow Poke is spectacular. This restaurant is popular with the locals. As you would expect, the fresh fish in HI is amazing and Sansei did not fall short. We sampled many different foods including sea urchin (not my favorite) and a few of the cooked items like the Shrimp Dynamite (awesome!). Overall, not cheap, but well worth the cash.
