Dinner for two was $115. Food is better at the Stratosphere in Vegas. Cold shrimp, BBQ, and green beans are not worth $115.
We ate here for supper the last night of our stay at Aulani, just before we headed to the airport. It is quite pricey but the variety is great. We couldn't try everything, as there was so much and it was quite good. Our family definitley ate their share of the cost in crab legs. I think our waitress cleared... More
We visited Makahiki last year. There wasn't a lot of dishes I liked there but there was a couple I really liked so we returned for a couple of nights during our stay. At this time we felt it was over-priced for what we enjoyed. We visited Makahiki early this month to celebrate my daughters birthday at Aulani and I... More
My family and I had the breakfast buffet almost every morning of our stay at Aulani. It was a little pricey but the selection was wonderful. The food was fresh, warm and tasty. We usually at so much that we didn't really need lunch. We had dinner there one night and again, it was a wonderful selection. Great wait staff... More
Good but expensive. Generous amount of fish at the buffets, which was consistent and tasty. I think the value depends on what you choose. It was probably worth $45 for dinner if you really like sashimi.

Since we already had a place to stay and Disney points to spend, we decided to spend the points towards breakfast. Unfortunately, we went to the Character Breakfast Buffet. The food was great and there was a wide variety of things... More
I understand that this is a Disney restaurant in Hawaii, so of course it's going to be pricey. I was just a bit disappointed with the dinner buffet. The fish I was really wanting had good flavor, but it was really hard and overcooked. The sushi bar... I had better sushi the day before, right next door, for just $7.... More
@ $43 per person it was totally worth it for our group. I personally found the sushi bar to be my hy-light of the meal, although everything we each (4 adults) ate was simply delicious. We were more than happy campers by the end of our dining experience. They have king crab legs, oysters on the half shell, peel n... More
