various unique breakfast burritos... Nice fresh seafood selection... Service was a bit scattered however genuine and solid overall.
Try for the counter seating where you can enjoy fresh seafood just out of the sea while enjoying the bay and the scenery. The clam chowder is excellent, but they do now charge for bread which you just have to use to soak up the chowder or the broth from the steam clams. Try the crab tower - yummy! It's... More
Had fish and chips. The cod was soft and squishy, not the least bit flaky. If I'd wanted sashimi, I would have ordered it. When I told the cash register employee about the problem and gave him back my food, he shrugged and threw it in the garbage. Normally I would have insisted on a refund but I just wanted... More
Seafood breakfast burritos (we enjoyed smoked herring and bay shrimp; salmon and crab also available) make a great start to a day in SF. Great food, nice people.
Great clams, oysters, and clam chowder. I've bought both clams and cockles to take home as well as steamed clams and fresh oysters to eat on the spot and they were very good. Clam chowder is good, too.

This is a small place and we so enjoyed it. My husband had the fish tacos and they were outstanding. I had the crab sandwich which was awesome. It is a great place to people watch.
If you are looking for a nice lunch without spending a fortune at the Ferry building, head to the SF FIsh Co. Fish soups, and sandwiches from fresh fish and cerviche!!! You can sit at the counter and watch the people go by.
Where else would you go for great fish and chips? Ok the wharf. This is pretty near that, and has a great view of the water and ship traffic. Fish is not overdone (fried) and delicious. A bit on the pricey side, and not portions so large you need to take the rest home. Adequate to satisfy.
The Ferry Building is a fun place to visit on a weekend afternoon and if you do, you will get hungry. We regularly opt for the SF Fish Company and sit at the bar with a nice view of the ferries coming in and otherr activitiesnout on the bay. The crab sandwiches are tasty as is the chowder. It's a...
