what a great place...loved the tent and the food was awesome...grilled calamari, steak, lamb and very very reasonably priced for San Fran standards... Staff was great as we played a prank on her for her birthday... :)

We ate in the conservatory at the back of the restaurant. It was quite buzzy for a Sunday evening. We looked at the wine list and ordered a Californian Pinot Noir but the waiter suggested that we might like to try one of the better (more expensive) ones. I said that I was happy with my choice and it was... More

visited with friends who know the place well - service was very good, friendly with good suggestions. definately a place to select and share small plates, ordering as you go. everything we had was good and nicely prepared. wine is a bit heavily marked up, but a good choice

My wife and I visited Isa for dinner in April. Front of house was full but we did get a table in the back dining area. Actually more roomy than the front house, well lit, and very pleasant. Service was extremely efficient by a waiter who was totally knowledgeable about both the food on offer as well as the wines.... More

Stumbled upon this restaurant when staying at the Cow Hollow Motor Inn next door. The meal was excellent, we were advised to share each dish, which we nearly did - my wife wanted all her scallops and I wanted all of my lamb! Could not fault it, wonderful atmosphere, attentive staff and really well presented, delicious food.

If only you would come for the bread.. itwould be worth your while. But the food is delicious as well, as ae the wines. Friendly staff (I had Jonathan). makes a great evening. I was alone and wasn't rushed to finish; I asked to be served after some time, and they did. Allowed me to zip my wine after the... More

We found this restaurant via TA and the menu on the web looked good so we decided to visit for the happy hour followed by an early dinner. Our French waitress was great with nice sense of humor and very knowledgeable about menu options. We did a wine tasting prior to dinner and were impressed by the French beaujolais and... More

Isa is a delicious treat that is simply done well. We were seated by the manager and she made every effort to make sure we were comfortable from coat check to table seating. Everything here just flows...including the wine ordering hahaha;but on serious note we never felt like we were scanning for any service request it was just a breeze.... More

We stumbled across this whilst looking for a nice meal one Friday after a tour. It was for a birthday so we wanted something a bit special. Isa was amazing. Firstly the service was friendly and cheerful. The menu was varied and the food we ordered was stunning. It reminded me of Ottolenghi with larger portions. The sea bass melted... More

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of food in this Marina area restaurant. There were four of us and we decided to try different dishes from the prix fix menus to taste 12 different dishes. The undisputed winner was the calamari! Forget about the usual fried version. Isa's calamari was juicy, delicately spicy and simply scrumptious. Our French waitress... More
