Wonderful dinner with unique menu options, service and staff were awesome and sincere. Warm cozy atmosphere
We had a party of Ten for a Business dinner and the service was impeccable! The pear appetizer with Gorgonzola cheese was to die for. The "Strudel con pasta fatta in casa" was was delectable. The Panna Cotta with coulis of port wine and berries melted in our mouths. The servers recommended wine pairings as we'll to enhance every course.... More
Have visited a number of times. Dungeness Crab was excellent. Our entire party enjoyed our meals. If you're short, beware of the booths... unless you like to rest your chin on the table while sitting upright. Service was excellent.
Research stated that it was a "top 10" restaurant in the San Francisco area. We had one evening to spend before heading on to Sonoma and wine country. Excellent choice! My husband said it was the "best halibut" he's ever had and he travels extensively. Service was top ten too. Made us feel very special and waiter even brought over... More
We chose this via Trip Advisor and we weren't disappointed. This is an excellent meal and all 8 of us were happy. Excellent wine selection, though no hard liquor, but we found a favorite Italian Wine on the list! The staff was genuine and offered superb service. You won't be sorry.
Great place! Small, intimate and friendly, the food was unbelievable. All 5 people in our party thought that their meal was as good a dinner as they had in a long time. The rabbit and veal were uber tender, the fish delicious, and the stuffed pasta shells were just amazing. Save room for the tiramisu too.
What a great little place! Quiet, excellent food and wine list, walking distance from the hotels of Fisherman's Wharf, off the beaten path but well worth it. This is a family run place (including the kitchen) and pleased to talk with you about their story.
This trip was the second time we have visited Albona Ristorante. We attempt to eat at places we haven't before, but some of them we just must return to. A very short walk from the Marriott or Hyatt on Fisherman's Wharf, it is tucked away on a nondescript block. We visited early (5:30-6:00) on a weeknight. No need for reservations... More
We were staying at Fisherman's Wharf area and were getting a bit sick of the tourist traps, so came here because of the very high ranking on TA and the proximity to our hotel. The 'top' Fisherman's Wharf restaurants rank 200 or lower on TA, and Albona must be just outside that area. It's in a residential area, but nicely... More
Off the beaten path but so amazing! This is the place you want if you are looking to get away from the touristy places and have a first rate meal! Loved it!
