We ate here the day before our wedding weekend, and the food was great, wine spectacular and the staff friendly. It was a great experience, and fantastic way to start our marriage.
This place is amazing, from the building itself to its location to the incredible food! The staff did a great job of making recommendations, from entrees to wine.
We went here for breakfast. I had a breakfast burrito for 6 bucks. It was tasty with a bit of heat. I also at my wife's toast. I wish they would have had marmalade. Coffee was good. You have to get your own. 50 cents for a refill. Our waitress was pleasant. Decent place to go. Bathroom was clean.
We really enjoyed the food, wine, and ambience. The space is ver open and modern, and the cuisine is locally sourced and well prepared.

We had heard about Wild Rice Restaurant for years, having vacationed on Madeline Island for years, but we had never been able to get away to go to the restaurant. Once you're on the island, well, who wants to leave? Nonetheless, we decided THIS year was going to be the year to finally go to Wild Rice. It was fabulous.... More
The restaurant is outside Bayfield, WS and Bayfield isn't a big place--pop. 400 or so. It's not easy to find on your own so be sure to ask directions. The restaurant is set in the woods and you won't see another building from the restaurant. You will be wowed by the architecture of the building, and by the spaces created... More
I had read almost all of the reviews and I was so excited to dine here. He is what I loved; I loved the setting, the style, the decor, the "old lady" props, the lay out, all of the architecture, etc.. The service was excellent as well and very attentive. My husband loved everything he had; the duck breast /... More
The building itself was interesting in its unique architectural design. Be sure to tke the time to really check it out. My husband tried the salmon, and I had the scallops. Both fish entrees were fresh and perfectly seasoned. The wait staff was professional, friendly and attentive. What's not to love? We had a wonderful evening.
