For Los Alamos, where there's not too many restaurants, let alone a sushi restaurant, Origami is great. Definitely not the best sushi I've had in my life, but not the worst either. It's good, and the sushi chef is friendly.

We love dining at origami, the atmosphere is warm and inviting and the sushi is delicious! One of the best things is that they will do take out orders, a rare thing in Los Alamos, just call and 20 minutes later you are on your way. Be prepared to pay a little more than you would in a city closer... More

The food was below average in quality, but the service was above average. The price and ambience were both average. We had bento boxes. I can't speak for their sushi. Maybe it is better, but this isn't much better than a fill-the-hole dining experience.

Visiting friends who work at the Government Labs in Los Alamos, we were tired of eating Tex/Mex and Mexican food and asked our friends to suggest something different. Who could imagine a great little Sushi Restaurant out in the desert !? The staff at Origami , is very friendly, just about all of them said "hello" or offered kind words... More

We were one of the only customers, but had a great experience. Wonderful food and fast service. The owners were really friendly and helpful with letting us know things to do in town.

My co-traveler and I ate dinner here on 3/26. The food was excellent and the service was great. I had the teriyaki beef combination, which included miso soup, 2 tempura shrimp, tempura vegetables, 4 sushi (various), rice and of course, beef. It was plenty of food and very reasonable at about $16, and all very fresh. My co-traveler had the... More

Delicious sushi and a range of other dishes too. A bit pricey, but consistent with sushi prices in New Mexico. Good service, pleasant atmosphere. One of the best places to eat in town.

We always go there and also take away. The service is very generous. Very often the chef offers various treats for free. Those are best sushi I've had. Also you can try there korean food - real good, refreshing experience.
