Were advised an directed here by the hotel concierge for breakfast. When we come we saw an outdoor sign of the cafe and something resembling the door with construction men fumbling around. After entering we found "the door" was just a construction breach in the wall and the constructor were fixing it. The first words from the cafe staff to... More

After a 10 hour drive from Ontario, we came here for a nice dinner and our first Boston beer to start off our Boston trip. When it came time to order our drinks, we handed the waiter our ID's but he asked us if we had our passports (who carries their passport on them?) we said that we didn't as... More

Had breakfast there one morning and sat outside enjoying the sun and atmosphere. Since I wanted to savor as much lobster during my short Boston visit, I had Lobster Bennies on a toasted portuguese muffin. Food good, service good. I would go back.

Went for brunch on Mother's Day. To begin we got there just two of us and we were told to wait. Well we waited and three other couples were seated before us who just walked in without a reservation. I went up to hostess and pointed it out and she said it was an oversight and sat us in the... More

The waitress acted as if we had just awoken her from a pot-smoking induced nap and had no personality and no waitressing ability. We were the only customers in the dining area (should've eaten in the bar) but yet it took her forever to take our order and even longer to get it. And all we ordered was soup and... More

they also offer outside seating in good temps. We sat at the bar and ordered martinis and spicy drumsticks - which were surprisingly very well presented and very tasty. 8 individually large size drumbstick were "Frenched" and drenched with hot sauce, then topped with crumbled blue cheese on top. Served with veges and dipping sauce as well. Well done. Its... More

Went here for dinner recently. Started fine but when we were finishing up our starter (shared), the waiter was out with our mains. We eat out for dinner a lot and we expect a good 15-20 mins between courses. Not sure why our actual waitress didn't bring out the mains, but anyway, another guy came out with them and we... More

We went to Anthem on our last night in Boston, thinking that although the food was a little pricey, it looked like a nice place. We were not wrong, the restaurant has nice decor and the food was good, although expensive. I had the cod and my husband had steak, which we both enjoyed, but the service really let it... More

Randomly went into this establishment to find an excellent clam chowder and lobster salad for a reasonable price. The waiter was very good, suggest a nice bier and served the food quite promptly. The atmosphere was nice during lunch time crowded but not noisy. Certainly a place to go before taking a cruise in Boston harbour.

In Boston from out of town and was looking for a place for dinner and happened to trip on Anthem. Glad we did. Got a great table by the window and enjoyed the view, the food and the service. Our waitress was very attentive and kept refills of lemonade for two teenage boys coming. The pizza's were creative, my Cobb... More
