Its OK... we went for the first time today. It was great service but the food is average nothing special or particularly good. Extremely overpriced for the portions. I would not recommend it. My husband got the fried cod and I got the chicken strips.

This place is a real throwback to the 50's. They have awesome burgers along with an extensive menu. The milkshakes are my kids favorites. Stopped in for the first time today. This place Rocks. Great food and atmosphere , We got the coconut shrimp and Rueben's and were very happy with the choices. We will definitely be back.

Visited the obx last week and had a blast at this place! Great food and had the enthusiastic jake as our waiter! He really had the look of a boy from the 50s! Was amazed by the huge collection of coke memorabilia! Hope we make it back in the future!

Stopped in on our way to the aquarium and had the worst service of our entire trip. The food was good, but the waitress never once returned to our table. My husband and I love Big Al's. We have made it an OBX tradition. They have a variety of menu options, great desserts, lively atmosphere, and lots and lots of Coca-cola memoribelia.
