Good menu, good atmosphere and friendly staff. Just feels homey. Food is good but portions can be a bit limited. All in all still a great spot.
Had my birthday dinner here. Small but cozy. Great atmosphere. Good food and drinks. My only disappointment was that I didn't get to have the dessert I wanted, their bread pudding. The crab cake appetizer was to die for. The steak was great. The Gnocchi was good. A must try place in NYC.
Another West Village gem! Really delicious food, reasonable pricing (and reasonable wine list). My only complaint was I felt they rushed us a bit through our courses. Get the baked polenta appetizer!
My sister and I walked in without a reservation... and were made to feel extremely welcome. We had a massive private table. The waiter really knew about the food and the cooking. He suggested some great wine. It was the textbook NY restaurant experience. Not cheap, but its quality justified the cost.

Tremont is a great little restaurant in the West Village. The food is good, the service, also pretty good. It's one of those restaurants that's pretty trendy so you can find yourself waiting a while to be seated. The problem is the acoustics are awful in this restaurant. Far and above one of the best dinners I've ever had. Service was wonderful, atmosphere was great and once again the food was out of this world. We can't wait to go back!!!
We went Tremont on New Year's Eve whilst visiting from the UK. Although the menu was limited the food was great and the service was excellent (very attentitive and polite). The restaurant itself it stylish, orderly and well lit. Give the high quality food and service, the pricing was very reasonable if not plainly inexpensive.
Very disappointed by the customer service at this resteraunt....and we didn't event get the opportunity to eat there! After a busy day of shopping and sightseeing we wanted a late dinner on Sunday evening. Knowing that people typically eat a bit earlier in USA we called in advance (at around 9.10pm) to check if they were still serving dinner and... More
