There is no edge to this place. It's just a convenient place to get a reasonable cup of coffee in NYC. No fancy tables and chairs, no atmosphere as such, but clean and the coffee is OK!

Great place for those who don't want to pay the high NYC prices and get a hot meal. They will make your pasta or salad right there in front of your eyes. Nice selection of desserts.

Wide range of delicious food, great for breakfast and lunch but we arrived one day (11.15am ish) and they had stopped serving breakfast so might be an idea to get there earlier if you ant breakfast! So many different sandwich/wrap/soup/salad choices.

Don't be fooled by the big salad station - these folks were unable to identify a single one of their salad dressing a gluten free and protected that it was "way too big" when I asked to see the ingredient book to check for myself. Walking away with a giant undressed salad = Two thumbs down.

I love PAX, for a quick breakfast they are always a hit. Nice baked goods, yogurts and other healthy options as well a decent cup of coffee to get you going in the corner. When in doubt and in need of a quick bite, PAX is a good choice.

First off, I'd like to say this was the worst place I've ever stopped at for a quick bite - horrible service & bad food! Service was the worst here - unwelcoming, they get your orders wrong & when you let them know, they argue with you about it! The quality of the food is not good, especially for the... More

A small, soggy sandwich and juice cost $11... WAY overpriced. The place was also filthy. I understand that there are a lot of people going in and out, but the bathroom was absolutely horrible!!! There are many better options in the area, including vendors across the street in Bryant Park. WIsh we had eaten there instead.

This a great place with a huge variety of sandwiches and salads. I had the pastrami and it was fairly good. A healthy fast food option.

Did take out twice while stay nearby at Doubletree and the food is very good and reasonably priced. Salads and sandwiches were fresh, and breakfast was very tasty. Staff was courteous. Recommended

Wow, extensive menu for real healthy food at affordable prices. Eat here 3 times during 5 day stay - highly recommended. The orange juice, fruit pots and coffee are briliant.
