We went for the duck dinner for 8. This means we had 2 ducks, and 4 entrees that we got to pick from a list of about 14. In addition, we had soup and 3 appetizers each. Those were fine. The entrees were ok, not great. But the duck -- I could go into rhapsody over the duck and normally... More

This retauraunt comes recommended in guide books as being THE one to go to. Luckily when we arrived they were full so we had to wait. the first thing we noticed was that there were NO chinese people eating in there ( Always a bad sign in my book). Then we checked out the food being served on the tables... More

Very Nice Peking Duck although the pancakes seem like Mexican tortillas. Duck is nicely prepared and sliced by your table. Prices are quite reasonable and well worth the walk down to Chinatown. They'll even do a whole duck to go if you have friends arriving late :)

I dont know if it was because we arrived 'late' and they wanted to close up, or because they just were just disinterested, but we were greeted with no more than a grunt at the door and the service went downhill from there. The menu is expensive and unexceptional and the food once it arrived was tasteless (spicy beef -... More

I visited this restaurant during a trip to NY and I must say I was very impressed with the food! It was served in plentiful quantities and tasted very authentic (not like anything you'd find in your average Chinese eatery). and the service was actually good (unlike what you could experience in a Chinese restaurant). Will definitely be back to... More

The duck is sublime, and that is all you should get. In my experience, one duck feeds two people. In all other ways, this place has average Chinese food. Also, I would recommend BYOB at the Chinatown location, as all they have are "red" and "white" wine. Seriously though, the duck makes it all worth it.

I took a good friend out to dinner for her birthday and she wanted to go to the Peking Duck House in Chinatown. She had been there before and gave it a rave review so I had high expectations. I was not at all disappointed. Of course, the specialty is the duck and the head chef carves each duck for... More

My boss raved about this place and I see why. The decor, along with the food is absolutely amazing. i love how prior to serving you duck, they bring it out to your table first and then the master chef comes out and slices the duck with ease at a nearby table. I will definitely go again.

Awesome. Simply awesome! Could be one of my best meals ever in Chinatown. The duck was perfectly prepared, the soup was superb and the service was excellent.

We had a good meal here, the peking duck was lovely as were the prawns! It's very busy and popular but that created an authentic atmosphere.
