We were riding through Death Valley from the south, had stopped in Furnace Creek for a cold 3, destination Bishop........Well by the time we got to Stove Pipe Wells I was in need of an air conditioner. It was 106 degrees outside at 4:30pm So we went into the bar. After applying hand fulls of water to my skull in... More

$40 for a pizza and two beers. A bit overpriced and this was cheaper than the buffet. Bring your own food if you can.

There's not a lot places to eat in Death Valley, so the Badwater Saloon in Stove Pipe Wells, Interesting atmosphere. Can even play a game of pool. Enjoy.

Its a good setting with good drink choices but we didn't find the bar staff very welcoming. They were not rude and the service was quick, but a good barman will engage customers in chit chat and encourage them to stay longer and have an enjoyable visit. We had one drink didn't feel the love and left.

Stopped for lunch en route Furnace Creek, food was fine.Place fairly busy and staff working hard and doing OK. Imagine at height of season it could be chaotic! Prices as expected in remote areas. Choice at Stovepipe is eat here, buy food at store across road and eat at tables outside or bring your own picnic.

The food was pretty decent and surprisingly fresh, but the service was a bit slow. The beer list is pretty good for a bar in the middle of nowhere. Definitely a worthwhile stop in Death Valley.

We tried this place for breakfast and a mid day break for a beer. The breakfast had to be the worst I have ever had. Cold buffet food, eggs hard as a rock. French toast was terrible and they were out of bacon and milk. The waiters in both the Resturant and the bar were arrogant and could care less.... More

Dined here for lunch. It was great! The waitress was welcoming and efficient. The draft beer selection was remarkable for the location. Food was very good (I had the ham sandwich), and everyone in our group was complimentary. The atmosphere was fun, and the overall experience was sooo much better than the Fourty Niner Cafe at the Ranch. The General... More

Great beer in a cool looking saloon with fun decor. Fun looking t-shirts for sale too. And next door is a very good restaurant. I highly recommend going to both.
