We thought the food choice was limited and mainly of the packaged and fried variety. For the quality of food it was overpriced and the service was enthusiastic but certainly not accomplished.

After a day at the biggest park in the lower 48 I was hungry. The food was better than average and good service. The experience of visiting the park is overwelming and very scenic. I had a nice steak and wine and enjoyed the experience. I have been there twice and enjoyed it very much.
Avoid busy times and you will thoroughly enjoy this old fashioned dining experience. Food is decently priced (for where itslocated) and service is attentive and courteous.
Ate there 3 nights; good food and large portions. Wait staff are friendly. Food came within a reasonable time first 2 nights; our last night had an hour wait and dining room was half full. As we left saw lots of people waiting to be seated.
Not only was the buffet pricey, but the selection of food limited; if available at all. No bacon and potatos tasted rubbery. Only one server who was overwhelmed. Don't waste your time and money; go the extra miles to the Inn at Furnance Creek!
We ate here three nights while staying at Stovepipe wells. They have very good barbeque food, southwest cuisine, burgers, steak and pasta. We enjoyed the food here and felt they offered some of the better food in the valley. The breakfast buffet was the best breakfast we had as the chef prepared three egg dishes daily as well as numerous...

We ate here while staying at the motel at Stovepipe too. Reasonably priced for where it is, and the food was excellent. The guy who served us (Dan) was wonderful; friendly, efficient and helpful. I had a bowl of chilli (lovely!) and some nice crispy fires and my husband had the rib eye steak which was massive and gorgeous! With...

We've been going to Death Valley for over a decade. The food has gotten much better since two Decembers ago! I mean the food was awful. No matter what you ordered, it would be BAD (we are not picky eaters). Now, it seems like the cook/staff has changed for the better. The food is really good. It's your typical all...
