we visit Giovanni's every year for our Mammoth Lakes trip and during busy season you will have to wait in line on a Friday or Saturday for service and it's worth the wait. Pizza, Pizza, Pizza. the Antipasto Salad, and a good bar. The crust and bread is wonderful and we have loved every combo we have tried. If you... More

Have been several times and can say it's some of the best pizza I've had. Puffy/chewy dough with a selection of good toppings. Frequented by locals, and--though in a shopping center-- slightly off the beaten path, but well worth finding it. They have a good selection of tap beers, including great local brews, which you should try. Service can be... More

We eat here at least once every time we come to Mammoth to ski. Not only is the food really good and reasonably priced. The service is always outstanding and friendly. Giovanni's has been owned and run by the same family for decades. They know how to run a restaurant and they know how to take care of customers. It... More

We always make 1 night a Pizza or Italian food night during our ski week in Mammoth. Giovanni's is casual, great salads or salad bar, and lots of main Italian entrees to choose from. The Pizza bread garlic toast is to die for....

A bit like Pizza Hut - you can create your own pizza and choose your own salad from the salad bar. This is great value for money, downtown next to Vons but as it was dark the surroundings are irrelevant Server attentive - nothing was a bother, not many people in main dining hence lack of atmosphere. Half pitcher of... More

We've eaten here before, but now it is so horrible. We couldn't even finish one pice each. Pizza is nasty, no flavor to the crust, and the toppings are meager. The " Greek salad" had maybe one olive, dressing that we asked to be left off, and some old lettuce. Our server, when we reminded him that we had requested... More

We went to Giovannis on our first night in Mammoth Creek - after a tough day hiking in Yosemite. We were so tired we went for a takeaway pizza. After a short wait we were rewarded with the best pepperoni and jalapeno pizza we have ever had! Absolutely delicious. so good we went back again on our 3rd night and... More

After this epic ride we were keen for some pizza. Well we found it at giovanni's. Service was excellent very, friendly. The pizza's were the best I have had in a long time. The other great thing is that they have a very good range of quality wines...we had one called the zen, it was very nice...cheers

Well hidden next to Vons. This place is the best pizza joint in Mono County. Fast service, friendly greeting by all, and a great meal for 3 for 22 dollars. We will return!!!!!!

On a fishing trip to Convict Lake, we stay in Mammoth and Giovanni's was a great choice. A big restaurant with TV's to watch sports and pretty god food. The Pizza is above average and the Pasta's are also good. The Staff is very friendly and helpful. It was like going to your neighborhood Pizza hangout and enjoying an evening... More
