Description: Stephen Starr's stylish new addition to Rittenhouse Square pays tribute to French cafe culture, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week, ideal for a quick bite or a leisurely meal. Parc recalls the chic brasseries of Paris, serving classic French fare in a charming space. Red leather banquettes topped with frosted glass provide a sense of intimacy. Details such as well-worn wooden chairs, vintage framed paintings and photos and antique brass fixtures transport guests across the Atlantic. French doors spill onto a sidewalk terrace covered by a dark red awning perfect for dining "en plein air." Reservations are not accepted for outdoor tables.

Parc is aptly named, located adjacent to the Rittenhouse Square park in Philadelphia. The ambiance is wonderful - from original Paris bistro tables and chairs to an open front and zinc bar. Bustling, great service, views and park greenery all add to the experience. Most importantly, the food is wonderful! From fresh European to local Pennsylvania and New York cheeses... More

My husband, son and I had dinner last evening at Parc. We have dined there before and this place always lives up to our expectations. We each had a different appetizer so we could share. All were very good especially the escargot. I get that every time we go there. Entrees were great and the profiteroles were gone in two... More

My wife and I arrived at the time of our reservation, and after a few minutes, we were led to a table by the hostess. It was a cramped 'two-top' between a wait station and a door (kitchen?). I asked to be relocated, and a nice table at the window was offered, though the attitude of the hostess was less... More

Great food by most accounts from my colleagues. I'm a vegan and I was dissappointed - most USA restaurants are better at coping with Vegans than this - but the beer and service was Sooooo good, I quickly forgot my gripes. Seriously, the service teams here are top notch and they'll squeeze every last cent out of you from a... More

Stephen Starr, who replicates ethnic restaurants with flair, has another winner in Parc, right there alongside Rittenhouse Square that center city oasis with flowering shrubs and family gatherings. This time it's a Parisian bistro, right down to the steak frites and the tile floor. High ceiling inside, lots of tables outside, a varied menu skillfully prepared and handsomely plated. Best... Went here for lunch expecting to be wowed because of other experiences at Starr's restaurants, but we were really disappointed. One guest ordered a burger, which was ok, but not cooked as specified. The macaroni and cheese was tasteless (how can you mess that up!) and served lukewarm. The vinaigrette on my salad was awful. Not sure why everyone is... More

This restaurant right on Rittenhouse Square offers “typical” French bistro environment and excellent food, with a good variety of options on the menu, including typical French favorites. It is a spacious restaurant, nicely decorated but also very popular, so you may want to reserve during busy periods (though we did not reserve for lunch and were seated right away). Whether... More

I loved the beet salad, and my husband got a burger that was really delicious. We had a good glass of wine - service was fast and pleasant. You should go there! We went back for brunch the next day! The breads are delicious and the hot chocolate. I had Eggs Benedict and it was great. I have absolutely nothing... More

Our party of 5 went to Parc after a recommendation from a friend who lives in downtown Philly. It was an interesting decor with the long bar dominating the room. The main characteristic was the noise. It was one of the loudest restaurants I have ever been in. Simply to talk with the person next to me, I had to... More
