We have eaten at Lacroix for breakfast, but never dinner. We went to celebrate our son's college graduation. We felt very welcomed and comfortable. Our waiter was more than accommodating and professional. Although it is gourmet food, it is not a stuffy or pretentious atmosphere. The wine list is fantastic, almost too hard to choose. We started with a bottle... More

So accommodating to every taste and diet! Great atmosphere overlooking Rittenhouse Square! Welcoming staff and young exciting executive chef with great ideas to tempt young and old! If you do not see it on the menu, chances are he will look high and low and find something to accommodate!!! Reservations are a must, especially for the outstanding Sunday brunch where... More

Excellent location, wonderful view and good food. What more could you ask for. We walked from the Ritz Carlton, took time but we got to see the sights.

We ate this evening at LaCroix. The restaurant is lovely and the service exceptional. The food was good, but not great. I love unique blends of flavors that leaving you wanting more. I think this chef's intent is to create very unique pairings that are exceptionally tasty, but it was apparent that he tried too hard to make the dishes... More

Well prepared and creative dishes are a trademark here. While Lacroix is somewhat pricey, the atmosphere complements the fine food.

Lacroix offers very imaginative modern cuisine, with unexpected juxtapositions of ingredients -- for example, a "Lobster Minestrone" consisting of both lobster and rabbit, with vegetables and a little pasta in a powerful broth. Other offerings are equally delicious and novel, from the first course through dessert. The restaurant promotes a 4-course dinner, in which the portions are sized so that... More

The service was excellent. The decor is very sophisticated. However the food failed to wow us. It was good but not great and inconsistent. At times, it felt like the chef was trying too hard to get creative and sophisticated and th flavors were just lost or were outright weird.

What a beautiful day to have Lunch at Lacroix. We were hesitant as our past lunches in the last 5 years have been a disconnect from a lovely and elegant dinner and Brunch service but the Menu looked new and vibrant and the service is always spot on and the ambience is a home run. finally have a great Lunch... Went here on a special occasion and hands down this was the best meal I've had the chance to enjoy. Every bite was spectacular...The service, the food, the ambiance, all wonderful. Cooked to perfection and the complimentary bottle of wine was a very nice touch.

Lovely atmosphere with a remarkable four course menu ($75). Some of our dishes: a lobe of fois gras with truffles (an understandable extra charge for this decadence, mozzarella with radicchio, wonderfully tender poussin, and lamb saddle -- including a "lollipop" of ground lamb unlike anything I've ever tasted. The menu descriptions of the dessert did not do them justice: we... More
