This restaurant is very well run. Staff is competent and knowledgable. You can watch the kitchen staff if you get a table inside. The wood -fired oven is the center piece. Flavors are not what steal he show, but rather the quality of the food and the careful preparation. Wood-roasted chicken was perfection and wood-baked macaroni and cheese delitious. Deserts... More

Finding this James Beard restaurant was a bit of an adventure. When you arrive you are welcomed by complimentary valet in what seems like a beautiful compound of restored old mills that are now serve mixed residential and commercial functions. There are water structures and an absolutely exquisitely designed outdoor seating area. Entering the restaurant, you notice the decor and... More

This was my first time @ woodberry kitchen- we were in the area and stopped in on Saturday afternoon without a RESERVATION- the place was very busy! I wasn't looking for brunch but that's what they serve on the weekends and it was EXCELLENT.... I had the asparagus frittata with a side of SCRAPPLE, yes I know scrapple but I... More

WK is one of the first (if not the first) farm-to-table restaurant in Baltimore. We went as a party of five on a Friday night. Preparations are imaginative, the staff is passionate, and the atmosphere is wonderfully lively. We did a variety of small plates, from flatbreads to crab dips, and all were great. Can't wait to go back for... More

WK become one of our all time favorite restaurants! It is a must go to for us when in Baltimore. They get everything right and they do it with grace. Starting with the valet parking, friendly hosts and beautiful interior; you move on to a well trained staff that really knows the menu and seem proud to be serving you.... More

weekend brunch at woodberry kitchen is a treat more for the atmosphere and intriging drinks than necessarily for the food which is also good. For example there were five hard ciders on offer and the server was able to give helpful comparative notes on each. Though the menu said that all the coffees could be served iced, the barrista came... More

We went to Woodberry Kitchen in May for my husband's birthday. This was our first time here and we had a nice time. We sat outside which is nice and shaded but ladies, bring a purse hook as there is no place to put your purse and the outside tables are on fine stone. WK uses local ingredients and it... More

Apparently Woodberry Kitchen has been open for about 5 years but we just dined there for the first time in May 2013, at which point WK was #6 on TA and #2 on OpenTable. With numbers like that we had to see for ourselves what is making WK so popular. Other than a hard to find location (even with a... More

I was looking forward to go to this restaurant to try the soft shell crab they offer. Unfortunately they had finished it before 9:30 PM. However the overall atmosphere made it up for this by offering wonderful interior design, very friendly service and everything cooked in a brick oven. The location is a bit outside the Baltimore center, but it... More

We (a party of 6 adults) returned to Woodberry Kitchen two Friday's ago to celebrate my daughter's graduation. Unfortunately our dining experience was disappointing and not up to Woodberry's standards (which evidently have slipped quite a bit). First the negatives -- service and one of our entrees. Our server was indifferent at best; during our meal he never asked if... More
