We loved the night in the garden. Others roasted marshmallows. Who knew they went well with wine? The food and wine was excellent. A great neighborhood, informal spot.
I usually have tea and sometimes might have a small snack. The food can be a bit expensive. The ambiance is interesting and cozy. Great place to have meetings or work on a project. They have two floors and some long table areas that you could work at. The outdoor seating in the front is minimal, but they have a... More
They have great coffee, overpriced but tasty brownies and half the staff seem pretty friendly. The other half just looked at us snobbily. Mochas and teas are good too for my friend who can't stomach coffee:) The seating and building are the draw. Good people watching out front.
I'm giving this an Excellent rating not so much for the food, but for the atmosphere and the coffee. There is always something sweet to choose from and their scones, brownies and cakes are particularly good. I have not been too impressed by their food otherwise--not bad, not great, and priced a little too high for what you get--but if... More
We went here pretty much every night of our trip to Savannah. The decor and atmosphere is so unique. Very relaxed. Mocha, chorizo tacos, coconut creme pie, and lavender almond cookies were a few of the things we had at Foxy Loxy and all were great!
If you need strong coffee and good, homemade pastry in the morning (and I do), this is the spot. Our hosts at The Galloway House B&B recommended it (it's right around the corner) and I'm grateful. ALSO good for late night brownies.
We had a chicken taco and also the quiche, both were wonderful! Also the Mexican Mocha and Foxy Brownies are great! Really nice, great service and a welcome alternative to the big franchise places. We will be back and would recommend to anyone
The food was great here. Had a special taco. Portions sizes were small (actually realistic) so there is room for dessert. It was hard to decide both on the meal as well as the dessert. The shortbread cookies were excellent.
If I lived in Savannah I would live at this place. Great local vibe....neat variety as their outdoor flags show "expresso and tacos" Cute cafe in an old house with a lovely backdoor patio. Coffee is great, food is great but a little pricey for what you get.
