Inspired by Chef Elizabeth Terry, Elizabeth on 37th continues to serve a sumptuous combination of traditional and innovative dishes, directed by Chef Kelly Yambor. My first visit to this historical but wilted lady delivered fabulous cuisine, fresh flowers, masterful wait staff and culinary delights. I could end here but meeting the proprietor was humbling. Despite a long rein as a top Georgia restaurant, Gary was bustling about filling water glasses and speaking to the patrons. He has the rare capacity to connect with kings... More

My wife and I have eaten at Elizabeth several times, and every time, it has been a fantastic experience. Last week, I had the Gullah Fried Rice with Crab, and it was spectacular - simply one of the most delicious dishes I have ever eaten. My wife had the scallops, and they were also delicious. One of the highlights, surprisingly,... More

The rotting wooden soffit over the front porch entrance and the dire need for exterior repainting belies the excellent food within. The watermelon salad was excellent and foretold the excellent sauteed Sea Bass, sides: a medley of juli-enned mixed vegetables and a seasoned mound of brown rice. A generous portion of each for $34.00. The darkened (less than adequate lighting)... More

We had an excellent meal here on May 28, 2013. This restaurant is a bit old school, which makes it a great place for a romantic dinner out. We allegedly had the Seven Course Chef's Tasting Menu ($90), but the portions seemed full size to us. See four of the courses pictured below. (Only the dessert was a shared course.)... More

This restaurant also came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. The food and service were extraordinary. They take low country cooking to a whole other level. Best fine dining experience on this trip.

My youngest son graduated from Savannah College of Art & Design on Saturday, June 1. We had reservations for 8:15 and we had a 4 week old baby with us (older son & wife). First of all, the baby (which was carried throughout the evening courtesy of bodywear) was barely noticed (I was worried about bringing a baby to a... More

The food WAS good, the entree portions were generous. Everything was pricey. The interior was very attractive (the outside has lots of "deferred maintenance"). The wait staff was attentive. When we arrived for our 6PM reservation (opening time) ALL the wait staff was standing in the reception area as if they were going to break into a chorus of song.... More

Coming from Europe and having eaten at Michelin 3 star restaurants in England, Scotland, France, and America my experience at this restaurant was awful. It would have been humourous if the food and drink weren't so expensive. The care in food preparation was lacking as well as any attention to presentation. It was equivalent to a neighborhood pub in a... More

Dining at Elizabeth's was a big disappointment. We had to park four blocks away and it isn't in the safest part of town after dark. The place has little ambiance, other than it being old and Southern. It needs some maintenance. The service was excellent. They described the food offerings like ithey were being prepared by the greatest chefs in... More

Great old home a bit away from the bustling touristy area. On-street parking a bummer but otherwise all positive. Warmly welcomed for our anniversary dinner. Interesting menu featuring locally sourced items - you could taste the freshness! The staff was friendly and helpful - including helping picking the right wines to match our meal.
