Went for desserts & drinks. Sticky toffee pudding was lukewarm and sponge was stodgy and the toffee was gelatinous. Brownie with ice cream was just okay.
We dined at Molly MacPherson's over the thanksgiving holiday and were very pleased. A local recommended the pub and we were very glad we went. Great Shepherd's pie, Reuben, and a burger were all enjoyed by our group. Service was excellent!
I haven't eaten at many Pubs, but this is what I expect when I think of one. My wife and I stopped for lunch when leaving Savannah, GA. We we delighted with the service, quality of the food and the price. I will stop back for some Scottish Eggs when I return next month. They were good!!!!
For day 3 of our trip to Savannah, we had planned to eat at Chive, but when we reached there in our meandering, we weren't ready to eat. As we walked on, the temperature kept dropping and the wind got stronger. As we started to get chilled, we decided a pub might be the place to get warm. My husband... More
We stopped in for the sole purpose of seeing what Scotch was on the menu. We were not disappointed. They have a great selection and we enjoyed a flight of Scotch. We then enjoyed a Lagavulin 1995 Distillers Edition which was excellent.
Never been to a football(soccer) pub. Was a neat experience. The fish and chips was near average and the pros should be a bit more fir the price.
Do NOT go to this pub when there is a football game on tv. After we were seated & had ordered, the noise became unbearable, due to drunks yelling during game, which was being played on tv in the restaurant. We thought it was temporary, it died down for a while, but by the time we got our food it... More
Researched several options for lunch in Savannah and decided on Molly MacPherson's because it is a change from the norm southern fare. Our server, Rob, came right over to the table and took our drink order, recommended several ales and lagers to my husband. My bloody mary was fabulous, The menu is interesting and diverse. My husband had fish/chips and... More
The bartenders there are great and they had the soccer matches on Saturday and Sunday morning. The selection of Scotchs and the Scotch wall is a site to see. Food was also very good.
I enjoyed this Pub. We were waiting for a tour of the historic district to start and wanted lunch first. The food was good and so was the service. The decor was interesting. Just a clean, friendly place with better than average food.
