Been coming here since it opened. Have never had a bad meal here, everything we tried has been excellent, they really know how to cook! Service is usually great even though it's always busy. Beer is a must have, and what a great selection they offer! On the last couple visits though, we didn't get served any bread until we... More

Inside is set up like small German village with separate rooms, each decorated differently. Food is, of course, German style. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Try the beer sampler and the sauerkraut soup was incredible.

There were baby spiders in the shell of the dessert cup. Lots of them continued to exit the shell. It was awful. Made you think this hard shell had been left out in the open for the spider to have laid its' eggs

My friend and I visited during their happy hour. The appetizers on the menu were affordable and allowed us to try several with our pints of beer. We really enjoyed the Scotch Eggs.

We stopped in for lunch today and shared "the feast". There was enough food for my hubby and I to share. You must try all of mustards that they bring to the table!

Gustav's in Vancouver, WA serves high quality, reasonably priced German Food. They also offer many gluten free choices - all have been delicious. The servers are very pleasant and accommodating. My husband loves the schnitzel with the paprika gravy (not gluten free). I love the GF wursts and pork dishes. Overall a great place to dine.

I was very sceptical when a friend took us there, but I did not get disappointed. The entire restaurant is decorated in a bavarian style and very detailed. It's clean, staff is friendly (although they did not wear traditional bavarian clothes ;-) and the food is just amazingly good for made in the States and very close to german food... More

I've been here a few times, and though I would not term it as outstanding, it also has never disappointed. They do a good job with German-style food. It is always flavorful, with generous portions. There are good sides: the pretzels with mustard are very nice, and the bread dipped in pesto fondue is excellent as well. The food is... More

The selection of German beers on tap is excellent. The giant pretzels with mustard are a wonderful paring. Other good items are menu are the crab fondue and leg of lamb. The German dishes vary between very good and "fast food version".

I have been here a number of times, both for lunch and dinner. The food is authentic German food and, though not low on calories, it is very good.
