Cozy, but comfortable bar area. The food is excellent, while the bartenders are always experimenting with different ideas that they usually tryout on you. They have daily specials, while the food is creative, delicious, the best combination of comfort and upscale. Great place for dinner and drinks before a movie, but get there early. The bar fills up fast!

We had baby in tow for our dinner at TRB, so we went early (she is well behaved and used to being in restaurants, but it is not exactly a baby/kid kind of place). Ordered the bacon wrapped dates (based on previous reviews) and some sort of beef appetizer. Both very good. Cocktail list looked interesting. Our server was awesome,... More

My teenaged son and I literally stumbled upon The Regal Beagle after having a few hours to kill in the Boston/Cambridge area a few weekends ago. We were not sure what we wanted, you know when you are hungry but it is an odd time? 11:20 on a Saturday to be exact - what to do? Breakfast, lunch, brunch -... More

I've been visiting this bar/restaurant for almost three years now, and as a recent new member of trip advisor, decided I should write an entry about my favorite place in Brookline. The bacon wrapped dates never leave the menu - if its your first time here, they are a must. Truffle fries also an excellent staple. With the seasonal food... More

Going to the Beagle for brunch is always a treat, partially because of their fabulous Veggie Mary with perfect pickled green beans. In fact, all their cocktails are awesome! The food is pretty uniformly great too. I love their burgers and their duck tacos in particular. The Beagle has been a great addition to our neighborhood all round.

My husband and I live nearby and we venture to Regal Beagle whenever we meet with friends or just want a nice date night without having to trek far or spend too much. Most of their entrees have a local flavor to it while updating it with modern tastes. They always have two specials each night as well as beer,... More

Had brunch yesterday at the Regal Beagle, just a few doors down from Coolidge Center Cinema, which is one of things that recommends the restaurant -- convenience -- good service -- time enough to get to the movies! I had juevos rancheros and their version of a mimosa -- both of which were very good. The restaurant was crowded --... More

We had lunch on a weekday afternoon during the holiday time between Christmas and New Year. One can conveniently park behind the restaurant in a municipal lot. The menu boasted many unusual but tasty items like Korean Fried chicken and not that uncommon butternut squash soup ( the soup was very nice with pine nuts as a nice touch, almost... More

We went to The Regal Beagle recently on an early Sunday evening. We made reservation (unncesseary for 5:45pm on a Sunday, but at more normal dining hours probably a good idea), and upon being shown to our table, I was very impressed by the menu and the drink list. They have great cocktails (though not necessarily if you're the type... More

This place, although a bit cramped inside, has a cool vibe. The food can be inconsistent and is very pricey for what they serve. The pancetta wrapped dates are very good. The service is good as well.
