We always enjoy this Alaska landmark in Fairbanks. Food is good and the price is right. In summer the deck overlooking the Chena river is always a nice place to be. Wild, Fish, and Beef not be missed in this place. This time we had the Reindeer Tenderloin, and was very good. The fresh oysters were delicious

The location is just picturesque but the food for me left me not very happy ... we went for the brunch yesterday and our bill was about $45.00 and for that price it just was not a hit with me other than my wallet.. the food was way too salty and not enough options... so for me I would not... More

Had dinner here on a Tuesday night. No waiting at 6pm. Hubby started with the tomato soup of the day, then had the halibut. I had the "chicken Denali", which was different in that they left the skin on the chicken breast. Not used to that, I just scrapped it off. After learning that Alaskans LOVE ice cream, we asked... The Pump House is an old building restored to reflect the rugged character of Alaska. The wine flights were a good value and paired well with the food. We had the oysters on the half shell which were excellent. The king crab legs were slightly overcooked but still good. The deserts were excellent. The antique bar is worth having an... More

Our dinner at the Pump House restaurant was awesome! We ordered the seafood feast and a feast it was. For $40 you get almost a whole Dungeness crab (just missing a couple of the small claws on each half), 4 oysters on the half shell, a number of large prawns, steamer clams (I'd guess it was about 10), and a... Let me just say when I first tried this place it was for Sunday brunch and I was not impressed! It was a beautiful restaurant but just not my kind of place. However my husband fell in love with the place and finally forced me to ear dinner and OMG! I had their bacon wrapped scallops and a steak and... More

We went on a Monday only to discover it was closed but intrigued enough to return the next day and so pleased we did. This restaurant has used the original features of the Pump House to add character to the restaurant. The food was superb and staff couldn't do enough to make our visit memorable. Highly recommend.

We visited the Pump House in late August and had a very nice experience. At that time of year the flowers were in full bloom, so the grounds of the Pump House were gorgeous. Dinner was very good. The food was nicely prepared and very tasty. Service was excellent. We were advised to go around 5:00 pm to avoid crowds,... More

Great environment and the food was so yum! I got a reindeer steak and later found out they probably substituted red deer...I will have to ask next time I'm there-make sure you do too! Good times though!
