I love Thai food but, after several attempts and several dishes, I fail to see what the fuss is all about. If it's any consolation--their food is no worse than any other Thai place in town. In the kingdom of the blind...

I wish now that I had tried this place on my other trips to Fairbanks. Not sure why I never did. I ate lunch (a spicy stir fry) here yesterday, and it was outstanding. So good in fact that I returned for dinner (chu chee curry with salmon). The flavors are just right, the vegetables cooked perfectly, and it's just......

The restaurant is family owned and run. We showed up at 3:30pm for a late lunch as the last time I was here in 2010 we showed up at 7:30pm and waited for 45 min to be seated. I ordered the red curry beef; it had all the tastes that I crave. The coconut flavor is strong without being sweet,...

I ate dinner here and found my meal very good. My fellow diners enjoyed their meals as much as I did. Service was good even though then restaurant was very busy.
This place was about 3/4 full when we ate lunch, another Yelp recommendation. Hubby had the pad thai. More beansprouts than at Lemongrass (where I had pad thai for dinner). I had chicken & snap peas. We enjoyed it. Tiny parking lot.
The inside was VERY stereotypically Asian-- bold, bright colors, "traditional" uniforms for the wait staff, lots of traditional art. Food was okay, but I've had better Thai elsewhere (not sure about within the area though).
There are many Thai restaurants in Fairbanks (and also where I live in California), but this is one of the best I've ever tried. Great food, big servings, lots of choices, you can't go wrong.
Excellent food. You can't go wrong with any dish you order. We liked medium spicy. Hot was too hot and mild is not hot enough. Had cashew chicken and was a large enough portion to feed two people. White rice was delicious also.
My family and I have been going to the Thai House for years. The new venue is definitely much nicer, but the food and staff are excellent as always. Without fail we always receive fast and friendly service. The food is always excellent! Try the green curry, it's wonderful!
This unassuming little restaurant was a very pleasant surprise. We popped in, in the mid afternoon. Were greeted immediately, seated, and brought water. The dining room is clean --very clean-- with interesting Thai wall decorations & statuary. The smiling servers/hostesses were in traditional Thai dress. They took our order quickly, and brought our appetizers steaming hot after just a few...
