We had lunch at Pikes Friday on the Deck while they set up the dock so folks can arrive by boat. We had a burger and coconut shrimp, very nicely done. The staff was Awesome. We recommend you go sit on the deck and enjoy a beautiful Fairbanks summer day

Eight years ago I had the tastiest halibut sandwich EVER ! That's why Pike's Landing was on my list of places to have lunch on June 14, 2013. It was possibly one of the worst meals I've EVER had. The halibut appeared to have been frozen, then fried in old grease to the consistency of jerky, and served cold. The... More

We ate here twice since we ha a late flight and there's not much else around. We had a crab and bacon Mac and cheese which was the best thing we had. The service was pretty good and our food came out fast. We did spend about $50 for lunch and another for dinner which is kind of crazy but... More

Pikes is a very popular spot in Fairbanks during the summer. It's location right on the river makes it a popular spot on a sunny day. There is nothing like sitting on the deck when it is 70-80F, having a drink, and watching the river boats and kayakers floating down the river. Not so popular when the sun is not... More

The salmon portion was very large. The draft beer was standard 16 oz. but good. The steak strips were cold but it was a salad so possibly it should be. I noticed that there were lots of local cars in the parking lot.

And by the title, I mean this place is legendarily awful. I've never sent my food back for being so comprehensively terrible (and cold) before "eating" at this restaurant, much less sent my food back for being comprehensively terrible and then walked out. This was after we made reservations at 6:00 pm and didn't get served until 7:30. Even the... More

Had the crab stuffed mushrooms which were fabulous! Wait staff was great and friendly! Sun was shining and it was a nice relaxing evening!

We were a party of 4 for dinner Tuesday night May 28. I ordered the Chef's Special preparation of fresh halibut. It was absolutely terrible and I should have sent it back! It was rubbery and tasteless. Probably frozen although I asked if it was fresh before ordering. I told waitress but she offered nothing but an "I'm sorry". Not... More

Pike's landing in Fairbanks may have the most delicious prime rib sandwich I've ever eaten. Tender, juicy, perfectly cooked. Yummmmm! Service is great.Attentive yet not intrusive and a view of the golf hole across the river. I don't play golf, but this looked really fun. The only drawback was that they took their great sweet potato fries off the menu... More

At the end of our Alaska cruise and land tour, we had had enough of Princess hotel food, and the lines at the Princess Fairbanks Hotel were very long, so we walked to Pike's Landing. We ate on the deck which looks over the Chena river and it was pleasant, although a bit kitschy...for instance, you can try hitting golf... More
