I ate at the Pancake Pantry in Nashville as a child, so when the one in Gatlinburg opened, it became a tradition on trips to the Smokies. It's a great place to go for a myriad of pancake choices-cant offer reviews on burgers or salads as we've never strayed from the pancake choices. Weekend mornings are often crowded and weekends... Our family chose this pancake house as our final experience on vaca. My husband ordered the buckwheat, far too strong of a flavor. I ordered the Caribbean (banana/coconut/nut) which were yummy. Our 7 year old ordered French toast which was a hit with everyone! Our 5 and 4 year olds ordered M&M pancakes and surprisingly, after one bite, wouldn't touch... More

We always set aside one morning to make our way to the Pancake Pantry. Great food, downtown Gatlinburg. Beware, they only take cash, ATM at the front door.

Buckwheat pancakes, Carribean pancakes, omelets, everything is fabulous. Huge portions, but they only take cash!

Be sure to arrive early. There is usually a long line. The food is fantastic. Even the hamburgers are great!

I enjoyed the ham and hashbrown casserole, which came with 3 buttermilk pancakes. Our server was great, very friendly. Prices were a little high considering this is a cash only establishment. Also, restroom is on second floor.

Because of good reviews for other places in the area, we didn't go to Pancake Pantry till the 3rd day of our trip. But we concluded that while the other places were okay, Pancake Pantry was still our favorite place for breakfast in Gatlinburg. Several years ago, a friend had told us about the Peach Delight and the Marvelous Blintzes,... More

For great pancakes, this is the place. My favorite is the orange with black walnuts. It comes with a thick orange syrup that is wonderful. The sweet potato pancakes are very good also. My son had the Carribean pancakes that are filled with bananas, coconut, & pecans. We really enjoyed this restaurant.

We stopped here based on a reccommendation from my boss, who visits Gatlinburg a lot and let me tell you, the food was awesome! And the portions were huge...I can usually eat a lot and I couldn't even finish the enormous plate of blueberry pancakes. My bf got the cherry waffles and he really liked them, too. The only complaint... More

I went to this restaurant because I always see a line of people waiting to get in. Today there wasn't so we went. They have every kind of pancake you could imagine so maybe that is the draw. However, I thought the food was just Ok and it took awhile to pay since I had to wait in line for... More
